I graduated from National College of Chiropractic (National University of Health Sciences) in Lombard, Illinois. In 1974, I took additional studies of the internationally recognized Gonstead Chiropractic System in Mt. Horeb Wisconsin. In 1972, I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Biology.
I dedicated my practice to the use of the world renowned Gonstead Chiropractic Technique which allows me to successfully deal with problem cases, structural rehabilitation, extremity problems, migraine headaches, etc.
Professional Membership: American Chiropractic Association, Illinois Chiropractic Society, Northern Illinois Chiropractic Society and the Elgin Chamber of Commerce.
My family and I moved to Elgin because we wanted to live in a community where we could feel a sense of belonging as well as one that could benefit from my special brand of care. I was married in 1958 and have six children.
I graduated in 1991 from the Parker College of Chiropractic which is a private college in Dallas Texas. I am certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, fully licensed in the state of Illinois. I am a member of the AASP (American Academy of Spine Physicians), Illinois Chiropractic Society (ICS) and the FCER (Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research).
I dedicated my practice to address the complexities of the upper cervical spine in addition to full spine adjusting techniques. I often refer to our body as a Rubic's Cube. All of the parts of our body must harmonize for the best, most efficient and healthiest system possible. Patient involvement is critical to reaching healthy goals. I strongly rely on in-office and home based rehabilitation in addition to the spinal adjustments.
Sport injuries are another area of health that I address in my office. I am a “certified chiropractic extremity practitioner” which means that I have special training in conditions of the upper and lower extremities such as carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fascitis, tennis elbow, rotator cuff injuries and many other ailments involving the extremities.
Nutritional supplements are an important part of my practice. Building strong and healthy tissue cells are vital for optimal function and disease prevention. Nutrients should come from primarily from what we put on our plates. And, in a perfect world, we wouldn't need supplements from a bottle. But the facts are clear that this is not a perfect world.
I use only professional grade nutritional support. Laboratory services are utilized as indicated. These techniques allow me to successfully deal with problem cases, structural rehabilitation, extremity problems, fibromyalgia, sport injuries, migraine headaches, etc.
I have lived in Elgin most of my life and have followed in practice after my father and my uncle. Kellenberger Chiropractic has been a part of Elgin for over 40 years. I hope that I will have the opportunity to help you resolve your health challenge.
